Interdisciplinary Center for Computer Simulations

The Interdisciplinary Center for Computer Simulations (ICCS) aims to conduct fundamental research in physics, chemistry, biology, and nanomaterials science through the application of modern computer simulation methods.

The mission of the ICCS is to bring together researchers from diverse scientific fields around high-performance computing and to train students from different faculties of Ukrainian universities in computer simulation methods.

The main objectives of ICCS are:

• to conduct cutting-edge fundamental research using advanced methods of computer simulation;
• to train students and early-career researchers in computer simulation methods and high-performance computing;
• to organize scientific networking and communication activities, and to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration;
• to develop, maintain and expand a powerful high-performance computing cluster.

ICCS was established within the framework of Project No. 2023.05/0019, "Interdisciplinary center for computer simulations: creation, basic research, teaching and sustainability", supported by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine under the call "Research Infrastructures for Advanced Scientific Research".
