Kinetic theory for dense gaseous mixtures with multistep potential of interaction: The normal solution and transport coefficients

The previously proposed formulation of the kinetic theory for dense gases with the multistep potential of interaction is extended to the case of a mixture. Hydrodynamic balance equations for the mass, momentum, and energy densities are given. In the first order of the modified Chapman-Enskog method, linear in gradients solutions for the one-particle distribution functions and the inverse potential quasitemperature are found. With their aid, contributions to the diffusion flux of mass, the stress tensor, and the heat flux are calculated. These produce analytical expressions for transport coefficients which describe diffusion, viscosity, and thermal conductivity phenomena.
