6th International Conference “Statistical Physics: Theory and Computer Simulations”
Participant registration continues for the 6th International Conference “Statistical Physics: Theory and Computer Simulations,” which will take place in Lviv, Ukraine, from August 27 to 29, 2025.
This edition of the conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Professor Ihor Yukhnovskii, an outstanding Ukrainian physicist, politician, and founder of the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics.

Nanophysics meets computer simulations
We are pleased to announce that the “Nanophysics meets computer simulations” meeting will be held on the 8nd of November 2024, at the premises of the Institute for condensed matter physics in Lviv, Ukraine. This one-day event is dedicated to the latest advances in nanoscience from both experimental and theoretical perspectives. It will bring together an array of world-class experts from both industrial and academic communities who will discuss a wide range of topics relevant for the world of nanoscience such as catalysis, sensors, light emission, light harvesting etc.
The event will take place in a hybrid off-, on-line format with the lectures streamed via Zoom.

An online presentation of the special issue of the journal Condensed Matter Physics, entitled "Statistical Physics and Emergent Behavior: From Spin Models to Cultural Complexity" will be held on October 3.
The special issue is dedicated to the memory of the Irish physicist and mathematician Ralph Kenna (27.08.1964–26.10.2023), professor at Coventry University, Doctor Honoris Causa of the Institute for Condensed Matter Physics, a member of the CMP Editorial Board, a good friend and supporter of Ukraine.
