We propose new and, to our mind, a somewhat simpler proof of H\"{o}lder continuity of solutions to Dirichlet and Cauchy-Dirichlet problems for second order elliptic and parabolic equations in divergent form. A conditions on the right-hand sides of equations were somewhat lessen. The idea is to obtain $L^\infty -$estimates for a certain function constructed from the solution.
