68.10JY, 82.65JV Effect of adsorbed impurities on catalytic CO oxidation: a lattice-gas model
On the basis of a lattice model catalytic reaction of carbon acid gas synthesis (carbon dioxide) from oxygen and carbon monoxide is investigated by incorporating the effect of inactive impurities and correlations between coadsorbates. The system of equations that describes the reaction dynamics on the surface is obtained. These equations are solved in the mean-field approximation and the results are analyzed in comparison with those known in the literature.
