The radiation-boosted diffusion of atoms in the regions of the thermal wedges, which arise in LFCM as a result of $\alpha $, $\beta $, $\gamma $-self irradiation, is investigated. Some mechanisms of the radiation-boosted diffusion of atoms in LFCM are analyzed.
