Study of Rochelle salt thermodynamic and dynamic properties within the Mitsui model taking into account piezoelectric interaction and transverse field
Within the Mitsui model, which takes into account piezoelectric interaction and transverse field, dielectric (static and dynamic), piezoelectric and elastic characteristics of ferroelectric with asymmetric double-well potential were studied. Developed model was applied to Rochelle salt (Rs) crystal, in respect of which also the piezoelectric resonance and sound attenuation phenomena were studied. The optimal set of parameters was derived allowing for better agreement between theory and experiment as compared to the model without transverse field.
