Approximate calculation of the memory functions and "shoulder" problem for the generalized shear viscosity.
For approximated calculations of memory functions a simple iteration scheme based on recurrent relations for higher order memory functions is proposed. This scheme allows to describe the generalized hydrodynamics of a simple fluid in a wide range of wave vectors and frequencies using static correlation functions only. In a case of transverse fluctuations for a Lennard-Jones fluid the obtained results are in a good agreement with molecular dynamics data. The proposed approach can be also used for the study of dynamics of other physical systems.
