TRAVEL AND ACCESS

Lviv has direct air connection with Moscow, Kyiv, Warsaw, Frankfurt, and Wien, as well as direct train connection with Moscow, Prague, Budapest, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Odessa, etc. Please feel free to send us any questions regarding your travel.

ACCOMMODATION

Conference participants will be accommodated in:

• the hotel "Nezalezhnist'" (estimated cost of the double room will be 130 UAH ($26) per night)
• the hotel of Lviv Polytechnic National University (estimated cost of the double room will be 60-80 UAH ($12-16) per night)

Organizers kindly ask the participants that intend to be accommodated in the hotel of Lviv Polytechnic National University to inform us beforehand (before 10 August, 2005).

From the Railway station to the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University: take tram number 1 ("Lviv Polytechnic National University")

From the Railway station to the hotel of Lviv Polytechnic National University and the hotel "Zamok Leva": take tram number 9 or 9а ("Sakharova str.")

From the Airport to the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University: take bus number 95 to the begining of Stepana Bandery str. or trolleybus number 9 ("Rusovykh str.")

REGISTRATION

Registration for the conference participants will take place on 27 August (from 3.00 PM until 7.30 PM) and 28 August (from 8.00 AM until 9.30 AM) at the conference venue nearby Mateiko hall of the Lviv Polytechnic National University.

VISAS

The foreigners (except from the countries with mutual visa-free agreement) will need a visa and valid passport to enter Ukraine.For more details, please contact your nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consular office. The conference organizers will be sending an invitation letter required for a visa via airmail.
