A two-dimensional reduced p-d model describing CuO2 sheets in the high-Tc oxides is studied by use of the composite operator approach. A set of self-consistent equations for the Green's function is derived in the static approximation for the paramagnetic state.Comments: Refs. 9, Figs. 0, Tabs. 0.
